Overview

  1. This document describes the compatibility between PEM Community Manager (PCM) application versions and IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (SI) versions. Use the matrix below to determine which PCM build is required for your SI environment before upgrading. 

    • For SI versions up to 6.2.0.x, all PCM versions are fully compatible. 
    • For SI versions 6.2.1.0 and above, compatibility is restricted due to changes in security algorithms and internal processing.

Important Notes

⚠ Compatibility Warnings 

  • PCM versions earlier than the minimum versions listed above may fail to work with newer SI versions due to encryption/decryption algorithm changes. 
  • It is strongly recommended to upgrade PCM to the latest available version when using SI 6.2.1.0 or higher. 
  • Using older PCM versions with newer SI versions may result in authentication failures or integration issues. 
  • Please perform pre upgrade considerations/validations before performing the upgrades
